Ram 1500 REV

Ram 1500 REV  Ram is ready to start talking about its production-bound electric pickup truck.

On Sunday, Stellanti’s truck division revealed the exterior of the Ram 1500 REV with the automaker’s Super Bowl LVII commercial Ram 1500 REV .

Although pre-orders are not being taken yet, Ram began charging customers a $100 refundable fee to reserve their spot in line to pre-order the Ram 1500 REV.

Ram 1500 REV Set to go into production in 2024, the Ram 1500 REV’s design is an evolution of the current gas-powered truck rather than a complete revolution previewed by the Ram 1500 Revolution Concept in January at CES.

The concept truck’s split LED running lights that go into the blacked-out sealed grille and sculpted hood make it into production. The taillights are similar to the concept’s and go into the tailgate, and while the wheel design matches the concept, the production truck’s wheels don’t appear to be the massive 24-inchers the glitzy concept rode on Ram 1500 REV .

Ramlådor kan ses på lastbilsflakets sidor, och laddningsporten är monterad på förarsidans framskärm. Hyttdörrarna, taket, de främre skärmarna och baksidorna verkar alla vara överföringsenheter från den nuvarande gasbilen Ram 1500 REV .

Ram 1500 REV  Borta är bussdörrarna till konceptet. Det finns inga bakre C-stolpssegel, till synes ingen midgate, ingen extra lång kabin (vilket gjorde att konceptet kunde ha tre sätesrader tack vare ett par hoppstolar bak), och ingen delad baklucka från konceptet.

Super Bowl-reklamen, med titeln ”Premature Electrification”, är fräck och lockar till konkurrenter som kanske inte levererar det utbud konsumenterna förväntar sig av en pickup när det är dags att jobba. En snabb glimt av Ram 1500 REV:s interiör som visades under reklamfilmen avslöjar en till synes uppdaterad version av dagens gasdrivna lastbil. En stor pekskärm i stående stil dominerar instrumentbrädan förstärkt med knappar, rattar och vad som verkar vara en ny pekskärm monterad på passagerarsidan på instrumentbrädan som liknar alternativet som finns i Jeep Grand Wagoneer och Grand Cherokees. Växelväljaren är fortfarande en roterande design.

While the exterior looks evolutionary and resembles today’s truck, what’s underneath is not. The Ram 1500 REV will ride on the new STLA Frame chassis, which is one of four modular EV chassis designs that will underpin the future Stellantis range.

Rams CEO Mike Koval Jr. has told Motor Authority that 300 to 400 miles of range appears to be the sweet spot for consumers looking to use an electric pickup truck. Stellantis has said the STLA Frame platform has a range of up to 500 miles Ram 1500 REV .

Ram, and Koval, have been adamant that the Ram will best the competition in terms of range, towing, payload and load times.
